## Architecture Core Components

QS Build's foundation is made up of the following core components, which developers can leverage to create robust dApps:

**1. Channel**\
Represents the shared context for user interactions, defined by a lifecycle (session). It facilitates the establishment of a shared key between users and supports the creation of short-lived or long-lived sessions linked to media. This component serves as the foundation for secure and seamless user interactions within decentralized applications.

**2. Key Establishment Protocol**\
Handles the secure sharing of cryptographic keys to enable end-to-end encrypted and Zero-Knowledge (ZK) communication.

**3. Content Processing Pipeline \[Coming Soon]**\
A set of functions or processes that handle data transformation and manipulation, enabling operations such as formatting or adjusting content while maintaining privacy.

**4. Media Transmission**\
A client side component responsible for the secure and efficient transmission of media (e.g., files, images, or videos) across the decentralized network, ensuring reliable delivery without compromising privacy.

**5. Delivery Service**\
Facilitates secure and efficient data transfer for files and text across multiple communication models. For files, it supports peer-to-peer sharing requiring online clients (using protocols like Waku or WebRTC) and decentralized buckets for uploads accessible even when clients are offline. For text, it offers peer-to-peer synchronization via wallet-based messaging and relay nodes that can forward or store messages, enabling offline communication with faster sync speeds.

These components provide the building blocks necessary to create highly secure, private, and efficient decentralized dApps.

# Upload API

API for session storage with a simplified interface for uploading and managing content on IPFS storage

This page provides comprehensive documentation for the Upload API, which offers a simplified interface for uploading and managing content on IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) storage. Inspired by the widely adopted S3 API, this interface aims to provide a familiar experience for developers while leveraging the benefits of decentralized storage. By abstracting the underlying complexity of IPFS, the API allows for seamless integration into existing workflows with minimal learning curve.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This API is currently under active development and may be subject to changes. We recommend reviewing the documentation regularly and subscribing to updates to stay informed about any modifications, deprecations, or new features that may affect your integration.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
The maximum upload size and related limitations are governed by the rules defined for each session
{% endhint %}

# Wallet Verification API

API for verifying wallet ownership

### Wallet Verification

Quick Sync offers an API designed to verify wallet ownership. The verification process generates a short-lived token, which can be used to create or join a session. For more details, refer to the [Session API.](/qs-framework/session-api)

{% hint style="warning" %}
API is currently under active development and is subject to change. We recommend checking the documentation regularly and subscribing to updates to stay informed about any changes, deprecations, or new features that could impact your implementation.
{% endhint %}

#### Verifying Wallet Ownership

1. **Obtain a Nonce Message** – Request a nonce message from the server. This message is a temporary, unique identifier used for verification.
2. **Sign the Message** – Use the desired wallet within your frontend application to sign the nonce message.
3. **Submit a Verification Request** – Send a request containing the wallet address, signed message, and signature to complete the verification process.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Currently, the API supports only **ERC-20 wallets**, but support for additional wallet types will be added in the future.
{% endhint %}

{% openapi src="/files/ds34rYKKV6pUUdjb3sEI" path="/wallet-proof/nonce" method="get" %}

# Data Privacy

## Data Privacy Overview

At Quick Sync, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and data security while continuously working to enhance the functionality and user experience of our platform. We recognize the importance of transparency in our data practices, and this section is designed to outline how QS Share responsibly manages its data, ensuring it aligns with our foundational commitments to privacy and anonymity.

## Commitment to Privacy

* **No Cookies**: QS Share uses local browser storage solely for non-identifiable settings like language preferences, ensuring no user tracking or personal data collection.
* **Data Anonymity and Security**: All user interactions within QS Share remain anonymous, by applying zero knowledge principles and using military grade encryption to secure data transmissions. Any data collected is generic and aggregated, designed to provide insights into system performance without compromising individual privacy.

## Types of Data Collected

QS Share data collection is purposefully minimal and strictly operational, aimed at improving system performance without compromising user privacy:

* **General Metrics about Sessions:** We gather aggregate data, such as the number of sessions started, the number of files transferred, total time spent by all users, and bandwidth usage. Importantly, these metrics are non-identifiable and aggregated, which means they do not contain any personal data or directly trace back to any individual user.

## How We Use this Data

The data collected is exclusively used to enhance the QS Share platform and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties:

* Platform Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns helps us optimize our service delivery, ensuring that QS Share remains efficient and responsive to user needs.

## Third-Party Data Processing in QS Share

At QS Share, we prioritize Web3 principles of decentralization and privacy, minimizing reliance on third-party services for data processing.

* **Infrastructure:** \
 We currently use the Koyeb platform to deploy our serverless cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient and scalable performance. However, we are actively exploring collaborations with decentralized infrastructure providers to align fully with Web3 ideals.
* **Analytics Services:** \
 QS Share is committed to user privacy and does not collect data for analytics purposes. Unlike traditional platforms that collect user data. We avoid tracking user behavior, reinforcing our stance on data privacy and security.
